Beikun Youth Scientist Award 2025 Application Guide

In order to encourage original innovation, cultivate young scientific and technological workers, create a multi-dimensional empowering ecosystem for scientific and technological innovation, and help promote the leapfrog development of scientific and technological innovation, the "Beikun Young Scientist Award" is specially established. To ensure the successful application for the "Beikun Young Scientist Award" in 2025, the following matters are hereby notified:

1、 Declaration scope

The project funding is based on the principle of facing the future and valuing potential, involving technological innovation in high-end chemical engineering, new materials, new energy, biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, artificial intelligence and other fields. The focus is on supporting related disciplines and interdisciplinary fields such as chemistry, chemical engineering and technology, materials science and engineering, energy and power, biotechnology, biology and medicine, mechanical engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology, artificial intelligence, etc.

2、 Reward quantity and amount

（1） Beikun Young Scientist Award: no more than 5 people per year, with a prize of 2 million yuan per person.

（2） Beikun Young Scientist Potential Award: up to 10 people per year, with a prize of 200000 yuan per person.

3、 Declaration conditions

Young technology workers who work full-time in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, with Chinese nationality, generally do not exceed the age of 45 (born on or after January 1, 1980), and females can be relaxed to the age of 48 (born on or after January 1, 1977).

4、 Declaration method

（1） Log in to the official website of the "Beikun Young Scientist Award" application https://www.beikunaward.com Enter the "Award Application" section to apply.

（2） Log in to the official website of the World Federation of Young Scientists https://www.ways.science Enter the "Beikun Young Scientist Award" application section of "Our Work" to apply.

5、 Regarding requirements

（1） The application materials must be submitted through the channels specified in this notice. For the trial implementation of paperless application materials for this award, please strictly follow the "filling instructions" to fill in and upload the corresponding materials.

（2） Please log in to the application system to view the charter and filling instructions of the "Beikun Young Scientist Award".

6、 Other matters

（1） The declaration system will be officially launched on July 15, 2025 (12:00 noon), and the deadline is September 30, 2025 (12:00 noon). The overdue system will be closed.
